Sales and Marketing Director

Overview

Are you a visionary sales leader with a passion for strategy and expansion? We are seeking a dynamic Sales and Marketing Director to take the helm of a high-performing commercial team. In this executive-level position, you will define the commercial strategy, lead national and regional sales efforts, and work closely with senior leadership to drive performance, planning, and market expansion across the region, including new growth in Guyana.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Sales and Marketing department, including Commercial Managers, Regional Sales Managers, and an Analytics Specialist.

• Design and implement strategic sales plans and targets aligned with corporate objectives.

• Collaborate with the production team to inform demand and production planning.

• Drive business development initiatives and identify market expansion opportunities.

• Oversee regional and local sales strategies to ensure growth and market share increase.

• Develop and manage department budgets, forecasts, and performance reports.

• Leverage data analytics for informed decision-making and sales optimization.

• Ensure effective team structure, performance reviews, and cross-functional alignment.

Experience

• 10+ years in senior sales and marketing leadership roles

• Extensive experience in manufacturing environments with cross-functional operations exposure

• Proven success in selling multiple SKUs across broad product portfolios

• Deep sector experience in construction, building materials, and technical product categories

• Regional market expansion across Caribbean and Guyana

• Sold to contractors, developers, project managers, and industrial buyers

• Directed diverse commercial teams across multi-territory portfolios

• Developed and executed sales budgets, forecasts, and performance targets

• Partnered closely with operations and production teams to align demand planning

• Strong business development mindset with data-driven strategy execution

Education

• Postgraduate qualification or MBA in Business, Marketing, or a related field
