Job description

Summary 

We are recruiting a proactive and organized Inventory and Warehouse Officer to oversee warehouse operations and maintain accurate inventory records. This role combines hands-on warehouse coordination with inventory control responsibilities, ensuring the efficient flow of goods, proper storage, and accurate tracking across all stock points.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records using ERP or inventory management systems.

  • Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment orders to avoid stockouts or overstocking.

  • Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventory audits.

  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies through reconciliation and root cause analysis.

  • Ensure proper labeling, tagging, and documentation of all inventory items.

  • Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, and dispatching of goods.

  • Ensure proper arrangement and storage of products following safety and space optimization guidelines.

  • Oversee inbound/outbound logistics to ensure timely and accurate delivery.

  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse in line with health and safety regulations.

  • Coordinate with logistics, procurement, and production teams for inventory and delivery planning.

  • Generate regular inventory and warehouse performance reports.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and regulatory standards.

  • Support inventory audits and assist with procurement planning based on usage and trends.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Certification in inventory or supply chain (e.g., CIPS, CPIM, CSCP) is considered ideal.

  • Minimum 2 - 4 years of experience in inventory control and warehouse operations.

  • Proficiency in inventory systems and ERP software (e.g., SAP and Microsoft GP).

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting.

  • Ability to supervise staff and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
